[EXCLUSIVE] Convicted Bank Robber Sues Donald Sterling for 50 Million
Yep, you’ve read correct! Donald Sterling has been slapped with a 50 MILLION lawsuit, by a prisoner who claims the Clippers owner has violated his civil rights.
theJasmineBRAND.com has exclusively learned that Reginald Robert Watkins – a convicted bank robber and currently incarcerated in FCI Marianna prison in Florida – filed suit earlier this month against Donald Sterling and his family trust.
Watkins claims Sterling’s racist remarks about black people have cut through him like a bullet to his heart, he says his heart felt the emotional impact of the statements made.
He says that he was honorable discharged from the United States Army, Army Reserve & the National Guard. He claims to have fought for the rights and should enjoy the benefits of them. However, he says that Sterling’s comments about black people coming to the Clipper games violates his civil rights.
Watkins sued Sterling claiming that his rights and equal benefits and he demands 50 million from Sterling for what he has done to him and other African Americans. Don’t believe us? Read the Exclusive Court Documents.
