OWN Cancels New Reality Show About Father With 34 kids + Diana Ross Joins Twitter
Oprah Winfrey’s OWN has officially pulled the plug on one of its new docu-series/reality TV shows. The network had planned to debut a show about Jay Williams, who was featured on “Iyanla: Fix My Life”. As you may or may not recall, Jay was a man who had 34 children by 17 women.
According to reports, the episodes featuring Jay were highly rated and discussed by viewers and the media. Anywho, OWN has decided not to move forward with the show. The network released the following statement:
OWN has decided not to move forward with the Jay Williams docu-series. The series aimed to follow Jay as he worked to put his life and fractured relationships in order and to hold him accountable every step of the way. The intention was to help Jay work to establish new connections with his family, his children and the mothers of his children. Production has ended and the series will not air.”
