Grown Man Gangsta, Bill Cosby Tells Russell Simmons, “Get the f*ck outta my face” & Bumps Him (ha!)

Let’s be clear, Bill Cosby and Russell Simmons ain’t ever got a long. Actually, they started beefing a few years back when Cosby started his “State of Emergency” campaign criticizing negative rap music. Simmons criticized Cosby’s campaign and they’ve been sorta beefing ever since. Well, according to Page Six, their little grown man beef got a little heated at the Jacki Robinson Annual Awards dinner. Rumor has it that Simmons tried to apologize, but guess what Cosby said to him? “Get the fuck out of my face.” Cute, right?

Uncle Russell shared on Global Grind, “I wanted to find him to apologize, to tell him I was sorry about my statements and to tell him that I loved him.” Russell also shared that Cosby took it a step further and got a little gangsta with him. He wrote that Cosby “walked by me and bumped me with his shoulder as I walked offstage after presenting my award to Sean [Combs, who was honored at the event] . . . I then loved him even more.” Cosby wouldn’t respond when requested by Page Six.

The rap music with the foul language only hurts our young people and the image that you set with your pants way below your waist also hurts our young men. I see Mr Russell as a grown man trying to look like a 15 year old boy he should be embarrassed and ashamed for leading our young people down a dead-end road. Our young men & women will have it hard enough to get ahead in the world trying to talk like 10 year olds and dressing like 15 year olds.
