Kanye West Announces Presidential Candidacy, Slams Award Shows During VMA Speech [VIDEO]
Just when you think Kanye West can’t outdo himself in the speech department, he does.
Last night (August 31st), the 38-year-old rapper took to the MTV VMA stage to accept his Video Vanguard Award. And in true Ye fashion, he provided an entertaining and thought provoking speech. He told the audience,
I don’t understand how they get five people who work their entire life to come, stand on a carpet, and for the first time in their life, stand up on a chopping block and be considered a loser. I don’t understand it, bro! I’ve been conflicted, bro! I just wanted people to like me more!
