(EXCLUSIVE) Beyonce Blasts Singer Accusing Her of Stealing Music for ‘Drunk in Love’
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Beyonce is blasting a singer who accused her of stealing her vocals and illegally sampling it in the hit song “Drunk in Love”, with the music mogul saying she never even heard of the woman and is demanding the entire lawsuit be thrown out of court ASAP.
A woman named Monika Miczura (aka Mitsou)- who describes herself as a Hungarian singer of considerable international acclaim – filed suit earlier this year against Beyonce and Jay Z over their hit song “Drunk in Love”.
The woman claimed that Beyonce stole a sample of her voice from a 1995 song “Bajba, Bajba Pelem” … without her permission or consent. She explained the sample was used to “evoke foreign eroticism alongside the sexually intense lyrics” of Beyonce’s song.
