Grace Gibson To Play Faith Evans in Tupac Biopic “All Eyez on Me’’
Actress and singer, Grace Gibson known for her role in “Black Nativity,” who also happens to be the daughter of Emmy award winning actress Lynn Whitfield ( A Thin Line Between Love and Hate) has joined the cast of “All Eyez on Me’’ the biopic of the late great rapper Tupac Shakur. Gibson has been casted to play Faith Evans, the wife of the late Notorious B.I.G. who was a friend turned enemy to Tupac.
Grace will be joining Jamal Woolard, who will be playing Biggie Smalls, the same actor who starred in the 2009 film “Notorious” in the leading role. Along with Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead) who will be playing Tupac’s mother Afeni Shakur and Demetrius Shipp Jr. as Tupac, Dominic L. Santana will play Suge Knight and Kat Graham is taking on the role of Jada Pinkett-Smith.
The film will follow the rise and the early death of Tupac. His mother Afeni is executive producing the project and Benny Boom will be directing the film. The film does not have a release date as of yet. Check out some of the behind-the-scenes photos.
