(EXCLUSIVE) Lil Wayne Off the Hook in $120K Legal Battle Over Floyd Mayweather Tickets

theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Lil Wayne is off the hook for not paying $120K for fancy seats at everything from Floyd Mayweather’s epic fight to the NBA Finals, all because the company who sued him over refusing to pay for the numerous high priced tickets they provided him – couldn’t find the rapper to serve him with the legal docs.

The Florida based company – Tickets of America – filed suit against Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment and his manager Cortez Bryant back in August.

The company explained they are in the business of selling tickets to sporting events. They said that Young Money contacted them to buy them tickets to high profile games starting back in 2013.

Tickets of America explained from February 2013 to June 2015, Young Money requested tickets to various games for which the grand total owed for all the tickets came to $119,400. The deal was Lil Wayne and his manager would pay the balance owed to the company for their services. However, they never paid the bill despite attending numerous sports games with the tickets they secured for them

The invoice for the bill includes 7 tickets to the 2013 Super Bowl ($14K), 2 tickets to the 2013 NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four ($500), 4 tickets to the MTV Video Music Awards in 2013 ($4K), 2 tickets to the Miami Heat v. Atlanta Hawks game in 2013 ($11k), 4 tickets to the Lakers vs. Rockets game last year ($11,100), 2 tickets to the Clippers vs. Rockets game ($11,300) and 3 tickets to Mayweather fight against Manny Pacquiao ($67,500) for a grand total of $119,400.

They filed suit for the unpaid balance + interest since June along with attorney fees.

Then on January 27th, the judge presiding over the case stated that he had already previously set a deadline for the company to serve Wayne, but they didn’t follow the order and as a result he dismissed the entire case without Wayne having to pay the company.
