Ciara refuses to say Future’s name, literally — or at least in public. On Monday, the singer and Ludacris, who are hosting the Billboard Music Awards, did a press conference announcing the nominees. Things got a little weird when Ciara announced the nominees and her ex-fiancee, Future’s, name was included. In fact, she paused when his name came up and allowed Luda to do the honors.

As you know, Ciara and Future are involved in a nasty legal battle over their son, Future. The two have exchanged pleasantries during interviews and on social media. We hear that legally, CiCi has been instructed not to mention Future’s name — so that may be the reason why she opted not to, during the press conference.

I’m really tired of this chick and so is Future. That was stupid, lame, childish, ignorant, and trifling for her to not do her job professionally. There’s no excuse whatsover for her actions. To not mention his name confirms all the reasons he should have not married her in the first place. If she’s holding such hatred for him, she should have never been chosen to have to call his name on national TV. Even if it was coincidence, she could have effortlessly said his name to avoid shame. She put the shame on herself, really. I’ll bet Future is somewhere LHAO! And I hope he wins the award so she’ll have to say his name without fumbling it. This chick needs mental help. What is Russy doing trying to tie this chick down when clearly she’s still not over her baby daddy? She deserve Donkey of the Week award!

Ya’ll are always in denial about stuff. She could’ve let the GMA producers know beforehand that if he was a nominee she couldn’t say his name. But noooo…she didn’t do this. There’s just no excuse for Cierrors.
Cut this chick some slack….Remember…she sued Future for defamation of character. He was slinging her name in the mud a lot. So she cannot say his name in the public either. In fact, neither one of them can mention the other persons name in the public. I don’t feel it was petty at all. It was rather smart.
What I do not feel was smart was that this was not worked out beforehand that Luda would do it just in case for her. Poor preparation on her part.

I’m not tryna act like I have more class than I was born with…so I ain’t gonna hold my tongue from what I wanna say. Why can’t these two get counseling to help manage the anger they both feel? Here it is, Ci has money and a soon2be rich husband but why is she’s acting disgruntled? She cannot run from the responsibility of co-parenting with Futurre. She’s apparently this out of control spoiled only child who thinks she can erase Future with her magic wand and expect Russell to shield her. She made the baby. Stop fighting the man and own up to the truth that Future will have to be known by his seed as dad. Russ can’t fix that, and you all need to chill out and raise that kid like other couples and estranged parents have to do.
I agree 100%.Guess what?If neither one of them didn’t still care for one another they wouldn’t be acting like this.In order to co-parent she is going to have to seek counseling if she can’t or won’t parent with him.Because they’re not together and she’s going to have to allow him to see his child and she can’t dictate when it’s convient!!
