Cynthia Bailey: I’m not wife material.
Cynthia Bailey: I’m not wife material.
Marriage isn’t for everyone and Cynthia Bailey is crystal clear that walking down the aisle will never happen again. As you know, the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member and her estranged husband, Peter Thomas are calling it quits.
Cynthia says of their split,
I will always love Peter and have his back. There was a lot of internal unhappiness. I wasn’t at peace.
Despite rumors that Peter had been unfaithful during their marriage, Cynthia believes that this is not true.
I believe with every ounce of oxygen and bone in my body that Peter never had sex with another woman.
Cynthia takes responsibility for their marriage not being a complete success, saying that she put her daughter Noelle first.
Peter never felt like he was my No. 1 priority. He was right. She was.
She continues,
I couldn’t give up Cynthia Bailey to be Cynthia Bailey Thomas. I was in love with Peter, but I’m just not wife material. I will never be in a relationship again where it will take a lawyer for me to walk away. I will never marry again.
For now, Cynthia and Peter hope to have their divorce finalize by January.
We had no children together, so what’s his is his and what’s mine is mine.
Despite her new relationship status, she is hopeful about her future.
There’s something very scary about turning 50 and being by yourself. I just have to believe everything will be OK.
The new season of Real Housewives of Atlanta returns to BRAVO Sunday.
