Paula Patton Lands New Series
Paula Patton is booked! The 41-year-old actress will star in the ABC drama Somewhere Between, according to a report. See the series description below:
The series centers on superstar news producer and fiercely loving mom Laura Price (Patton). Laura Price isn’t crazy: She knows her daughter Serena is going to be murdered. She doesn’t know who the murderer is or why she’ll be killed, but she knows exactly when it will happen, where and how. Despite this, all her attempts to keep her daughter safe fail, and Serena’s fixed, unmovable, terrifying fate keeps her directly in the path of her killer.
Somewhere Between is based on a Korean format and received a 10-episode pickup in December. The drama will shoot in Vancouver and air this summer. Somewhere Between marks the first series-regular role for Patton.
Patton made her film debut in the 2005 comedy film “Hitch” and starred in the epic fantasy film “Warcraft” (2016), based on the game series of the same name. Patton has also been the female lead in “Déjà Vu”, “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” and “2 Guns”, she also appeared in the critically successful “Precious” (2009).
