A$AP Rocky’s Case Accusing Him Of Beating Stage Manager Dismissed
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, A$AP Rocky scored in the legal battle accusing him and A$AP Mob of brutally assaulting a stage manager following a performance, with the years long legal battle being dismissed recently due to the plaintiff not showing up to court.
Back in 2012, Anthony Montalbano sued A$AP Rocky in New York Court. Montalbano explains he was working as a stage manager at a 2011 FADAR Fort show in New York. A$AP Mob performed at the event and during their set they began shouting obscenities to him due to their dissatisfaction with the microphones and musical instruments & equipment.
He said when he tried to remove the equipment from the stage – due to their misuse of the equipment – the defendants grabbed him and began continuously punching him in the face and head for several minutes and one hit him in the head with a microphone.
The stage manager accused the rappers of viciously beating him following their performance, causing him to suffer several head injuries. He sued demanding unspecified damages for citing emotional distress, assault and battery.
The lawsuit has dragged on for years with the trial being delayed previously.
The Supreme Court trial was set for May 12th in New York Court. However, on the date the judge dismissed the entire case due to Montalbano not showing up to court. The court docket notes the case was officially closed on May 12th.
