Harold Perrineau’s Daughter Says ‘Girls’ EP Raped Her When She Was 17
Actor Harold Perrineau’s daughter, Aurora Perrineau, who is also an actress, has accused “Girls” writer and executive producer Murray Miller of raping her. She claims that the incident happened in 2012, when she was 17 years old.
Perrineau currently stars on TNT’s “Claws”. His other credits include Lost, The Matrix films and games, Sons of Anarchy, The Best Man, 28 Weeks Later, The Edge, etc.
According to reports, Aurora filed a report with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on Friday. Aurora also passed a polygraph test, in which she detailed her accusations against Miller.
Miller’s attorney, Matthew Walerstein said,
He categorically and vehemently denies Ms. Perrineau’s outrageous claims.

Aurora claimed in her statement for the polygraph test that she met Miller while out with some friends at the Standard Hotel, where she “consumed some alcoholic beverages.”
He was flirting with me. I told him repeatedly that I was 17 years old.
The actress was with two friends, she said, and Miller, 35 at the time, asked one of them for a ride home “because he was drunk,” and the group agreed.
She said everyone got out of the car at Miller’s home, and she did not want to, but
felt like I had to go along with everyone else. At some point, I woke up in Murray’s bed naked. He was on top of me having sexual intercourse with me. At no time did I consent to any sexual contact with Murray.

After being contacted several weeks ago by lawyers who–on Ms. Perrineau’s behalf–sought substantial monetary damages from him, Mr. Miller’s legal team gathered overwhelming evidence directly contradicting these false and offensive claims. Only after her demands for money were rebuffed did Ms. Perrineau go to the police. Mr. Miller looks forward to sharing all evidence and information with any and all authorities seeking the truth in this matter.
Aurora’s mother Brittany Perrieau denied anyone from her legal team or family asked for monetary damages. She states,
At no time have we ever asked Murray Miller for one dollar. There was never a demand for money ever made from anyone on behalf of Aurora or our family.
Aurora’s credits include “Jem and the Holograms”, “Equals” and the upcoming film “Truth or Dare.”
Lena Dunham, who starred and co-created Girls, is friends with Miller. She recently took to social media defending him against claims of raping Aurora. After receiving criticism, she apologized on Twitter.

Unless you were his alibi, how do you defend him against claims of rape?
Just because you had no suspicion a person might do something, does not mean they won’t. A rapist, pedophile, serial killer, etc., does not just advertise that they are that way! This is why one of the first things people teach their kids is “Don’t take candy from strangers”. What is wrong with people?! God Bless the victims and the innocent affected by all of these claims of sexual assault.
