EXCLUSIVE: Trey Songz- Lisa Bloom Says She Will Continue To Fight Singer Over Domestic Violence Case
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, the legal battle that Trey Songz (real name Tremaine Aldon Neverson) appeared to have won on Friday may not be over. Andrea Buera’s attorney, Lisa Bloom, tells us exclusively that she is none too pleased with prosecutors decision.
The prosecutors in Los Angeles will have to explain how they charged Trey Songz with a felony, then a misdemeanor, then dropped everything, even though Andrea Buera immediately went to the hospital and contacted the police after the alleged assault. In our system, too often, money talks.
She also notes that the legal battle isn’t over for Songz.
We are just getting started in our fight for justice against Trey Songz.
As previously reported, the 33-year-old singer will not be charged in his domestic assault case, according to reports. Last month, the Los Angeles District Attorney rejected the felony case and on Friday, the Los Angeles City Attorney declined to file misdemeanor charges.
During NBA All Star Weekend in February, Buera claimed that the singer physically attacked her at a private party. She shared her allegations at a press conference stating,
I was attending an after party when Trey began yelling at me, choking at me … and ultimately knocked me to the ground.
She continued,
While I was on the ground, he continued punching me and did not stop until his security guard pulled him off me.
Songz has yet to comment about the dropped charges.
