Colin Kaepernick Case Against NFL Has Enough Evidence To Go To Trial
There’s still hope! Colin Kaepernick’s complaint against the National Football League (NFL), legally, has a leg to stand on. Colin’s lawyer, CNN legal analyst Mark Geragos, tweeted a screenshot of a notice he received from Arbitrator Stephen B. Burbank. Mark tweeted:
“Breaking news @Kaepernick7”
The notice reads:
“On August 28, 2018, the System Arbitrator denied the NFL’s request that he dismiss Colin Kaepernick‘s complaint alleging that his inability to secure a player contract since becoming a free agent in March 2017 has been due to an agreement among team owners and the NFL that violates Article 17, Section 1 of the collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and the NFLPA (union).”

Colin’s girlfriend shared her excitement on social media.
This means that Colin’s case will go to trial. Last year, Colin and his legal team cited that they feel his social activism has resulted in him being blackballed from playing football. The legal term for this is collusion.
In fact, as we previously reported, Colin Kaepernick‘s name was completely eliminated from a song featured in the Madden 19 video game. In the song “Big Bank” by YG, Big Sean, Nicki Minaj, and 2 Chainz, Big Sean’s verse reads:
“Feed me to the wolves now I lead the pack and shit
You boys all cap, I’m more Colin Kaepernick
I’m rare as affordable health care
Or going to wealth from welfare”
Now would be the appropriate time for us to pull out those #7 jerseys!
