Remy Ma Has No Issue With Non Black People Using N-Word: As Long They’re Not Using It A Racial Slur

Remy Ma is unleashing a classy shether on social media users. The “Love and Hip Hop” New York” star is getting dragged on Twitter, Instagram, and the like for her recent comments on the n-word. She and her “State of the Culture” castmates, Joe Budden and Scottie Beam, were discussing White rapper Lil Xan‘s use of the n-word. Many people were shocked at Remy’s stance. She said this about non-Black people using the n-word:

“I don’t usually get offended, regardless of what your nationality is if I feel like you’re not using it as a racial slur.”

She continued, commenting on how no one complains about rapper Fat Joe using it:

“I hear it so frequently from people who aren’t black people. Like Fat Joe, he’s the blackest Spanish guy on this planet earth and I’ve never questioned it.”

Social media didn’t bite its tongue in response to Remy Ma’s comments. Instagram user @shawnmansonx told Remy:

“@shawnmansonx Very disappointed in your N-Word stance. Still team #BlackLove tho”

Remy replied with a lengthy, contradictory message:

“@remyma We have wayyy more important pressing issues to tackle. I don’t want to nor would I promote my people to attempt to “own” a word & try to stop certain people from using a word that has caused so much pain & oppression, a word that NOBODY should be using regardless if it’s spelled with an A or an ER. I try to tell them to own property/real estate, life insurance, health insurance, degrees, etc. Words that is only allowed to be used by certain races is no different from bathrooms, water fountains, and sections on buses. We have to teach our future to be better than our past. And this is coming from someone that is a woman that is black that has been in the prison system that (unfortunately) uses the “n” word I’m not perfect but I aspire to be the best I possibly can thank u for bring team BlackLove”
