Whew! The misogyny jumped out! Academy award winning actress/comedienne MoNique responds at social media trolls with what they need the most – love. The “Precious” star shared a video of she and her trainer doing a vigorous dance aerobics routine. In the caption, she debunked rumors that her massive weight loss is due to gastric bypass surgey. She said:

Brash Instagram user @scottiecrakks took it upon himself to criticize MoNique’s progress. He commented:

“@scottiecrakks I told yaw she was still fat & sloppy Richard Simmons please help this sexy pig”

Instead of matching his rudness, MoNique sympathized with his need to lash out on a stranger. She replied:

“@therealmoworldwide @scottiecrakks Thank you for always showing up. Now can we please LOVE ON OUR brother. We can tell your PAIN IS REAL BABY. We love you 2 life.”

Oop! MoNique may be using her love for dance to seduce her weight off, but she’s always burned up the dance floor. During her stint as the host of the 2003, 2004, and 2007 BET Awards, she would proclaim her love for singer, Beyonce, with a dance routine to one of her songs. Queen Bey even included MoNique in her performance at the 2007 BET Awards.
