Clip Of Kim Kardashian Saying Kanye Didn’t Say “Slavery Is A Choice” Pulled From KUWTK
While filming Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian discussed Kanye West‘s infamous TMZ interview with her friends Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck. During the conversation, Kim said that Kanye West never really said that slavery was a choice.
If you listen to what he said, he said, ‘Slavery was 400 years? If it’s gonna be another 400 years, that sounds like a choice to me.’ He didn’t say, ‘Slavery is a choice.
Huck also implied that the TMZ clip was edited.
In the interview from May, Kanye actually said:
When you hear about slavery for 400 years, for 400 years??? That sounds like a choice. Like, you was there for 400 years and it’s all of y’all? It’s like we’re mentally imprisoned.
Fortunately for Kim, she reviewed the TMZ footage before allowing E! to air the episode. Upon review, Kim realized that what she said was inaccurate and not reflective of what happened at TMZ that day. As a result, she did not approve the episode for airing. Which is a good thing, because social media would have had a field day.
