False Alarm! Drake Gave McDonald’s Employees $100 Each, Not $20,000

Drake was deemed as a good Samaritan after theJasmineBRAND reported the Canadian rapper handed off $20,000 to two McDonald’s employees in California. While some gave Drizzy his flowers, others decided to dig a little deeper.

CNN entertainment reporter Chloe Melas tweeted Wednesday she reached out to the public relations firm representing McDonald’s, inquiring if the rapper really forked out $10,000 to the two women, and was informed the OVO artist gave $200.

I’ve just confirmed with the PR company who represents @McDonalds that @Drake did not tip $10,000 to the employees he gave them $100 each

Drake has yet to respond to reports of clarification or $20,000 reports.
