Wendy Williams “In No Condition To Make TV Return” Says Source
Source Reveals Wendy Williams “In No Condition To Make TV Return”
According to a source’s tip to Page Six, daytime talk show diva, Wendy Williams, may not be making her anticipated TV return just yet. She is taking a hiatus from her infamous couch to tend to her health, but she is reportedly worried about the future of “The Wendy Williams Show.”
The success of her fill-in hosts, such as comedian/actor Nick Cannon, is allegedly raising concern that her audience may not miss her. A source says,
“She’s super scared and anxious. Watching Nick Cannon being a huge hit with her audience is tough for her.”
They continued:
“They’re already starting to mess with the format. It’s like watching them screw around with her baby.”
Sadly, there may be more fill-in hosts in the weeks to come. The source added:
“She’s in no state to get back on TV anytime soon.”
Wendy has been on an extended leave of absence since December of 2018, due to her battle with a shoulder injury and recent Grave’s Disease diagnosis. But many believe she is licking her wounds from rumors of her husband, Kevin Hunter, having a long-term extramarital affair, that may have recently resulted in a pregnancy. However, Nick Cannon relayed this message to her viewers.
“I had a conversation with her and her whole family. She said she wanted to speak as a family unit; her, I talked to Kevin, little Kevin, they said they all good, the love and the passion is still there…she said she feels y’all love. She knows there is a lot of questions that haven’t been answered, but as someone who also deals with an autoimmune condition – I was diagnosed with lupus before – and when you go through these things, you never know. It’s day by day. One day you can be strong and the next day, you can’t even get out of bed. She sounded so strong, we was tearing up and everything.”
He continued:
“There can be negativity out there and she hears the things about people talking about her family unit and what’s going on, and she was like, ‘We don’t want to bring that negative energy when you’re trying to heal.’ And you need your family and friends in moments like this. “
The next celebrities slated to host “The Wendy Williams Show” are actresses KeKe Palmer and Sherri Shepherd, and actor Michael Rapaport.
