Solange Hits Stripper Pole Taking Over BlackPlanet W/ New Photos & Lyrics, Suspected to Be From Upcoming Album
Solange sent her social media followers into a frenzy after sharing a promotional video of her collaboration with BlackPlanet. The “A Seat At the Table” singer is suspected to be beginning the rollout for her upcoming project.
Since October 2018, the Houston native has been away from social media. She originally returned Monday to announce her grace of the cover i-D magazine, and Tuesday, announced her takeover on BlackPlanet. The landing page for Solange’s page is configured with several numbers, GIFs, and articulated words.

The words are expected to be lines from songs. One line reads:
How much of ourselves do we leave at home? How much of ourselves do we carry with us forever?
At the top of the page are three links. One says dossier, live, newsletter. On the dossier page, it is collection of photos and two videos, giving details for what’s next from the singer. In one image, a woman can be seen showcasing her pole dancing talent, while another shows Solange wrapped in a plastic top pressing against her chest. On the Live page, a list is provided giving Solange’s upcoming tour dates. The newsletter page allows users to sign up with their name, email address, and physical address.
The site was designed by Querida and developed by Feijoo Montenegro. If Solange were to release new music, it would be her first since her iconic “A Seat At the Table” in 2016.
