The Rock Seemingly Refers To Tyrese As A Clown, Posts Cryptic Message About Spin-Off
It looks like The Rock subliminally tweeted Tyrese over the success of Fast & Furious spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw.
Tyrese, who has been a part of the Fast & Furious franchise since the second film, made it clear from the beginning he wasn’t a fan of The Rock landing a spinoff. Hobbs & Shaw made $180 million its first weekend, and Tyrese said that that’s not a win. He posted and deleted the message below.

Now, The Rock has given a different narrative and announced that the film is currently #1 in the world. He also seemingly called out Tyrese in the process.
“Thank you everyone for makin’ this an exciting first week of box office for our lil’ spin-off @hobbsandshaw#1 movie and $333M worldwide, ain’t too shabby. And remember, the best way to shut the mouth of a [clown] is to flex with success and a smile.”

Tyrese hasn’t responded yet, but he might be too busy working on the upcoming Fast & Furious 9 movie in London. It will be released in May 2020.
