Roc Nation Backs Paul Mooney’s Support For Jay-Z, ReTweets ‘Ain’t Nobody Gonna Stop Watching Sports’ Message
It looks like Roc Nation agrees with Paul Mooney’s argument for Jay-Z. The rapper struck a controversial deal with the NFL and now heads the entertainment performances sector of the league, including the Super Bowl halftime show.
While Jay-Z has received some of criticism for his deal, as many boycott the NFL for allegedly blackballing Colin Kaepernick when he protested against police brutality, Mooney is one person who stands with Jay-Z.
Roc Nation, Jay-Z’s management company for athletes, entertainers and more, retweeted a message from the comedian.
“Leave Jayz alone- he is in position to get folks paid-right or wrong? Move on stay woke. Ain’t nobody gonna stop watching sports.. game is game.. play or sit down!”

Mooney was on a role and also responded to a fan who called him a hypocrite for once calling out MC Hammer for dancing for chicken in a vintage KFC commercial.
Mooney wrote,
“I still eat fried chicken..with potato salad and jalapeño peppers.”

He also challenged whether Jay-Z spoke to Kaepernick before taking the deal.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z is also standing by his decision.
