Michelle Obama Urges Followers to Vote in 2020 Presidential Election
First Lady Michelle Obama is still as involved in politics as she was when she was an official resident of the White House. She’s still carrying out her duties as First Lady by educating the public about the power of making their voices heard by voting. She is the face of the “When We All Vote” initiative. She debuted the promo video for the organization telling her followers:
“Last year, we went big. Millions of new voters made their voices heard for the first time. Now, the stakes are even higher. That’s why I’ve been reaching out to some friends to expand my Voting Squad for the year ahead.”
“When We All Vote’s” campaign this year encourages the public to inform their friends and families about the importance of voting. Michele Obama credits her fellow celebrity co-chairs like Shonda Rhimes, Chris Paul, Tom Hanks, and Kerry Washington as her Voting Squad.
