Rihanna Reacts To Model Mama Cax’s Passing: Rest In Power Sis
Rihanna is sending her condolences after model Mama Cax passed away.
Rihanna sent out a tweet shortly after the news was announced Friday (Dec. 20), saluting Mama Cax, who strutted the catwalk in her Savage X Fenty show earlier this year.
“A queen. A force. A powerhouse beauty that brought her strength to the @savagexfentystage this year inspiring so many across the globe. Rest In Power sis”

Mama Cax’s official Instagram page released a statement about her passing.
“It is with deep regret and immense sadness that we announce the passing of Cacsmy Brutus (Mama Cax). Mama Cax spent the past week in the hospital, and unfortunately, on Monday, December 16, 2019, she left this world.
To say that Cax was a fighter would be an understatement. As a cancer survivor, she had grown accustomed to taking on life’s several challenges head on and successfully. It is with that safe grit (fervor) that she fought her last days on earth.
We are aware that this loss will be felt globally and will not be easy for anyone. We ask that you please respect Cax’s privacy in this difficult time. We will make information about funeral arrangements public once they are finalized.”
Mama Cax’s unfortunate passing comes just after she gave fans an update about her health battles on Dec. 12, and said she was suffering
“severe abdominal pain.”

The model has also been vulnerable about her cancer journey. She was diagnosed with bone and lung cancer when she was 14-years-old. She had a hip replacement that caused her right leg to be amputated.
But she still went on to have a major modeling career for the likes of Savage X Fenty and Olay after signing with Jag Models in 2017.
Rest in peace Mama Cax! Prayers for her family, friends, and fans!
