Unnamed NFL Player Sues United Airlines, Claims He Was Sexually Harassed & Assaulted By Female Passenger
An unnamed professional football player recently sued United Airlines over claims that he was sexually harassed and assaulted on a red-eye flight from Los Angeles, California to Newark, New Jersey.
The NFL player – named John Doe 1 – and another unidentified Black man, John Doe 2, are seeking an undisclosed amount in monetary damages from United Airlines in response to the alleged incident, which took place on February 10th. John Doe 1 alleges that a Caucasian female passenger made several “unwanted sexual advances” at him. According to reports, those alleged advances to be:
“…groping and massaging his knees and thighs.”
This allegedly intensified to:
“…grabbing and groping his quads and then stroking her hand across his lap towards the inside of his leg near his genitals.”
Reportedly, the anonymous football player complained four times to flight attendants about the female passenger, but he and John Doe 2 were only moved to different seating after she:
“…grabbed JOHN DOE 1’s penis and ripped off his face mask.”
The attorneys of John Doe 1 and 2 – Darren Darwish and Benji Azizian – issued the following statement regarding the incident:

Meanwhile, United Airlines gave this statement:
“The safety and well-being of our customers is always our top priority. In this instance, the customer involved was moved to a different seat. Because litigation is now pending, we’re unable to provide further comment.”
