Tekashi 6ix9ine Says Nicki Minaj Is Not Responsible For “TROLLZ” Going #1: “When Has Nicki Ever Had a #1 Till This Date?”
Tekashi 6ix9ine is making headlines over the recent comments he made over the success of one of his singles. The 24 -year old rapper did a recent interview where he discussed how well his record Trollz did, which featured rap superstar Nicki Minaj. During the interview, it was implied that the song Trollz was a success due to it being a collaboration with Nicki Minaj. Tekashi 6ix9ine quickly butted in and stated the following ,
“Nicki is my sister I love that girl to death. When has Nicki ever had a #1 to this date.” He later added,
“Give me a Nicki single thats been #1.. her record”.

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s remarks during his interview sparked comments and reactions from fans. Some fans disagreed with the rappers comments.




“Trollz” was released in June becoming Tekashi 6ix9ine’s first number-one single in the U.S.
This was Nicki Minaj’s second number one single but her first as lead artist. The song marked the third collaboration between the artists, following “Fefe” and “Mama”, both released in 2018.
It’s safe to say Nicki Minaj’s fans bettered known as “The Barbz” are not feeling Tekashi 6ix9ine’s comments about the rap superstar. We will have to wait and see if Nicki will speak out on this matter.
