Carl Crawford Says He Wants Megan Thee Stallion To “Honor Her Contract”

Carl Crawford Speaks On Legal Issues With Megan Thee Stallion: “We Just Want Her To Honor Her Contract”

In an interview with Brandon “Scoop B Robins” on the Heavy Live With Scoop B Show, Carl Crawford said the two were still “in talks”.
“We’re still contractually together, so of course we want her to do well. You don’t want her to do bad because it’s not going to benefit us if she does bad, you know? So, we want her to do well.”
Though Megan thee Stallion has reportedly had a management deal with Roc Nation since September 2019, she’s still contractually bound to 1501 Ent and therefore Carl Crawford. Crawford claimed the Roc Nation team wasn’t being fair in negotiations and sad that was the base of his argument.
“We just want her to honor her contract. That’s the whole big deal behind the situation. They didn’t want to honor her contract but, they wanted to switch a few things and they never talked to me about it; they just sent the lawyers to me and all that stuff so… it was just really one of those deals to where you just – things kind of went left and it’s just unfortunate.”

Back in March, Megan said that she wanted to renegotiate her contract and filed a lawsuit. She also took to social media and alleged 1501 was preventing her from releasing her EP “Suga” after she asked to renegotiate.
She was awarded a temporary restraining order though not without comment from Crawford who also voiced his opinions via Instagram, going off on The Stallion’s manager T Farris saying he moved him in his own house for a year.
