Kanye West’s First Yeezy – Gap Release Is A $200 Puffer-Style Jacket
Kanye West’s highly-anticipated first Yeezy – Gap drop is officially here! As previously reported, last June Kanye West, who worked at Gap as a teenager, shared via his Twitter account that his Yeezy brand was teaming up with Gap for an apparel collaboration.

Almost a full year later and Kanye West has released his first design for Gap, a single light blue puffer-style jacket priced at $200. The jacket, which has been named the ‘Round Jacket’, is reportedly only available for pre-order on Gap’s website to customers in the United States and will be shipped out this fall. Kanye’s Gap jacket is unisex and features zero zippers, buttons or snaps. The martial is recycled nylon.

To celebrate the jacket’s release, Gap removed all post from their official Instagram page except a 3D video which showcases the jacket.

Kanye was spotted rocking the jacket last week while out in Los Angeles. According to reports, Kanye has signed a 10-year deal with Gap that is reportedly worth almost $1 billion. The ‘Stronger’ rapper is set to develop “modern, elevated” pieces for men, women, and children for Gap. Last July the Global Head of Gap Brand, Mark Breitbard, shared his thoughts on the collaboration. He said,
“We are excited to welcome Kanye back to the Gap family as a creative visionary, building on the aesthetic and success of his YEEZY brand and together defining a next-level retail partnership.”
