‘James Bond’ Actor Daniel Craig Claims He Is Not Leaving Money For His Children After He Dies: I Think Inheritance Is Quite Distasteful
Daniel Craig is making his thoughts on inheritances known!
During a recent interview, actor Daniel Craig revealed he does not plan on leaving inheritance money to his children after his death. Specifically, he plans on either spending his fortune or giving it away to charity before he dies. Daniel Craig, 53, stated:
“I don’t want to leave great sums to the next generation. I think inheritance is quite distasteful. My philosophy is get rid of it or give it away before you go.”
He continued, adding:
“Isn’t there an old adage that if you die a rich person, you’ve failed?”
Daniel Craig is most known for playing the role of James Bond since 2006’s Casino Royale–the 21st film in the official James Bond franchise. The English actor has reprised his role as James Bond since then and stars in four additional films–including No Time to Die, which premiers this fall.
On top of his lead role in the James Bond films, Daniel Craig also starred in various other hit movies, including Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, The Golden Compass, Cowboys & Aliens, and Knives Out.
Despite his various accolades, however, it sounds like Daniel Craig is adamant about not leaving any inheritance money to his children! The actor has two daughters: one born in 1992 to ex-wife Fiona Loudon, and another born in 2018 to Rachel Weisz.
