In a new video posted to his Instagram account, the New Orleans singer shared new music with the caption,
“To all the loved 1’s who support me – These last couple projects are likely to be the last you see/hear of August Alsina. W/ that said, it is my hope that we can enjoy each other while I’m here, on my last victory lap around the sun. I’ll strive to make it as nostalgic as possible for you w/ beautiful tunes & high vibes. With great love, always. -AA”

Although Alsina did not give more details on his possible retirement, fans can look forward to seeing more of him on the reboot of ‘The Surreal Life.’
As previously reported, Alsina, who turned 29 on Sept. 3rd, was cast for the reboot of VH1’s ‘The Surreal Life, which will bring multiple celebrities together into one house and focus on the group’s various activities, challenges, personal relationships, and conflicts.

The reprise of the series is set to feature singer and reality star Tamar Braxton, actress Kim Coles, retired NBA star Dennis Rodman, actor Frankie Muniz, former adult film star Stormy Daniels, WWE wrestler CJ Perry, and makeup artist Manny MUA.
