Kodak Black Reportedly Violates Probation By Failing Drug Test, Sentenced To 90-Day Rehab Program
It looks like Kodak Black‘s legal troubles aren’t quite over yet!
Kodak Black (real name Bill Kahan Kapri) violated the terms of his probation. As you may recall, the 24-year-old rapper was arrested back in 2019 on federal gun charges, and he was sentenced to 46 months behind bars.
Despite the sentence, Kodak Black was ultimately released from prison earlier this year after Donald Trump pardoned him shortly before his presidency ended.
The rapper thanked Donald Trump for the decision, tweeting:
“I Want To Thank The President @RealDonaldTrump For His Commitment To Justice Reform And Shortening My Sentence. I Also Want To Thank Everyone For Their Support And Love. It Means More Than You Will Ever Know. I Want To Continue Giving Back, Learning And Growing. @DanScavino.”
However, Kodak Black was only on supervised release, and he was subject to court-ordered drug tests during the probationary period. Reportedly, he ended up recently failing one of these drug tests. As a result, Kodak Black was ordered to complete a 90-day program in a rehabilitation facility. The rapper has allegedly already begun his treatment at the unnamed facility.
While he has not directly acknowledged the situation online, Kodak Black issued a cryptic tweet yesterday (Tuesday, Sept. 28th) that may have referenced the matter. The rapper tweeted:
“Barking up da wrong tree you know how da dogs get.”
This news comes about three weeks after Kodak Black‘s lawyer revealed the rapper and his girlfriend, Maranda Johnson, are expecting a baby girl.
