Meek Mill wrote,
“Looking for a fire director to cook my series about my life! They don’t have to have the biggest name either just the sauce!”
As you may recall, back in 2017, the 34-year-old rapper was sentenced to 2-4 years in prison for violating his probation after his arrest for reckless driving in New York City, and drugs and weapons following a fight in St. Louis.
Meek Mill was ultimately released, and later debuted a docu-series titled Free Meek, on Amazon Prime Video with executive producers Shawn Carter (Jay-Z), Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman, Paul, and Isaac Solotaroff.
The series gave fans front row access to the Dreams and Nightmares star’s life, career, and the negative effects probation has on communities of color.

Since his release, Meek has turned his attention to prison reform. Expressing his passion, he once said,
“I’ve lost too much time away from my son, my family, my friends, and fans in Philly because of outdated probation laws, so I want to make sure people don’t have to go through what I did.”
