‘Basketball Wives’ Star Brooke Bailey Shares That She’s No Longer Married: Single Sounds Better Than Stupid
Brooke Bailey is letting it be known that she’s a happily single woman!
‘Basketball Wives LA’ star Brooke Bailey recently revealed via her Instagram stories that she’s single. In her first post, the reality star shared an image that said,
“Wife sounds better than girlfriend but single sounds better than stupid.”
“Yes. I’m single.”
Brooke Bailey also shared another post that seems to be tied to her divorce that said,
“Endings can be peaceful.”
According to reports, Brooke Bailey married Ronnie Holland in 2014, and in 2016 they renewed their vows in Malibu, California. It’s unclear when the pair decided to go their separate ways but the mother-of-3 seems to have removed any images from her IG connected to the marriage or her ex.
In 2014, before she tied the knot, Bailey spoke with theJasmineBrand about her previous relationships. She said,
“The next person that’s with me, like if you eff with me, you’re stuck with me. That’s it. The first time I got married I was like 20 and the second time I got married, I knew I should not have been marrying him but I was like, “I’m going to do it for my kids,” which was the wrong decision. I did that and it didn’t work out but I knew that when I was getting myself into it that it wasn’t the right thing to do and I was in my early 20’s then too.”
Bailey was once romantically connected to retired NBA star Rashard Lewis, 42, and Detroit Pistons player Vernon Macklin, 35. Brooke Bailey has yet to share any more information on her divorce. However, details of her single life might play out in the upcoming season of ‘Basketball Wives.’
As previously reported, ‘Basketball Wives’ is gearing up for its come-back season and, according to reports, Bailey will be a part of the cast. Other women rumored to be on the series are Brittish Williams, DJ Duffey, Jackie Christie, Malaysia Pargo, Jennifer Williams and twins Nia and Noria Dorsey.
