Samuel L. Jackson Wants To Reprise His ‘Star Wars’ Character In A Spin Off Series
Samuel L. Jackson suggests he’s down to return to the “Star Wars” franchise.
The 73-year-old actor recently discussed the possibility of returning to the blockbuster franchise as his character Mace Windu. Hinting that a Mace spin-off series may be a strong possibility.
Speaking with Josh Harowitz from the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Samuel L. Jackson said he’d be open to rejoining the hit “Star Wars” series as Mace Windu. After Josh asked the “Bodyguard” star if a spinoff might be coming, Samuel stated:
“Definitely. There’s a huge history of people with one hand returning in the Star Wars franchise. The only person I’ve ever said that to about coming back was Bryce Dallas Howard, ’cause I just did a movie with her and she directs episodes of The Mandalorian.”
He continued on detailing the conversation he had with the “Mandalorian” director, asking her:
“You think you might be able to hook a brother up? I mean you like me, right? I’ll learn to lightsabre left-handed. Come on, hook me up.”

Mace Windu was a featured character played by Samuel in all three of the “prequel” films between 1999 and 2005. Following “The Avengers” star speculating his Windu character survived, despite seemingly be killed off in the third prequel, it was rumored Samuel might be returning to his role for a Disney+ feature.
