Jack Harlow Finds Out Brandy & Ray J Are Siblings: Nobody’s Ever Told Me That [VIDEO]

Did you know that Ray J is the younger brother of recording artist Brandy? If not, you’re not the only one whose been out of the mix!

Rapper Jack Harlow is currently on tour doing a lot of press runs as he gears up for the release of his sophomore album “Come Home The Kids Miss You.” During a recent live interview Jack Harlow seemingly finds out for the first time that Ray J, 41 and Brandy, 43 are siblings.

When Hot 97 show hosts Ebro, Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez challenged 24-year-old Jack Harlow to identify a ’90s R&B hit, the up-and-coming rap star struggled for a bit. Assuming it was Aaliyah on the track, “Hot 97” hosts were then encouraged to offer him hints to guess the song in question, which was “Angel In Disguise” by legendary R&B singer Brandy.

The first hint came from co-host Laura Stylez, suggesting Brandy’s hit 1996 sitcom “Moesha,” where the singer starred as a teenage girl in high school featuring her brother Ray J. Born just two years later in 1998, Harlow appeared puzzled at the hint and asked for another one. Co-host Peter Rosenberg offered him a second hint, suggesting the singer’s brother (Ray J) wildly known sex tape with reality star Kim Kardashian, 41. Still unsure, Harlow responded,

“Who’s Ray J’s sister?”

The stunned show hosts were immediately sent into a laughing frenzy. Harlow followed with,

“I didn’t know they were siblings. Who is it? Brandy and Ray J are siblings? Nobody’s ever told me that in my life. Nobody’s ever told me that.”

In case you didn’t know, the famous siblings were born to mother Sonja Norwood, 71, who is famous for managing some of the biggest celebrities as an entertainment artist manager.

At 14-years-old, Ray J took his talents from television into the music industry. Brandy became famous as a teenager in the early 90s with her debut studio album “Brandy,” which received a platinum certification in the US. The two aren’t the only superstars in the family. If you weren’t aware that Brandy and Ray J were siblings, you’re probably just now learning that they’re first cousins to iconic rapper Snoop Dogg.
