Ari Lennox Reveals Why Her Album Has Been Delayed + Admits Fear Of Flying & Says She Will No Longer Be Doing Shows That Require Her to Fly

It looks like Ari Lennox is getting vulnerable with her fans!

Over the weekend, Ari Lennox, (born Courtney Shanade Salte) took to social media to inform her fans of a major fear she has that could potentially affect her career. In her Instagram story, the “Pressure” singer revealed that she has a major fear of flying and it is “destroying” her health. She claimed that she will no longer be doing shows that require her to get on an airplane. Ari wrote:

“For my mental health and my sanity I will not be doing any shows that require me to fly. I can not keep torturing myself with this huge fear of mine. It is literally destroying my health. Enough is enough. I’m so sorry to all that are inconvenienced by this. Don’t know what this will mean for my career, but I just can’t do it.

She continued,

“On the plane to Minneapolis now. I’ll be there. If there’s any peers or anyone out there who knows of a great hypnotherapist, therapist and/or fear of flying solutions, I would be so grateful. I want to beat this.”

Despite her comments against flying, the 31-year-old singer is scheduled to perform in Los Angeles on Friday (June 24), along with London’s Wireless Festival and the Cincinnati Music Festival in July.

It appears the Dreamville artist is being very transparent with her fans this week! On Monday (Jun.20), Ari Lennox admitted to a fan that she is the reason her album is delayed. It all began when a social media user wrote to Ari assuming that the record label is the cause of her album being delayed. They wrote,

“@AriLennox I’m blaming the label for not releasing the album at this point. I know it’s done. They’re tripping.”

Ari Lennox replied informing her fan that she indeed is the culprit and not her record label. She replied,

“Boyeeee it’s me. I’m a baby perfectionist. She’s not ready yet. My sophomore baby is coming soon.”
