Kim Kardashian Collaborates w/ Beats By Dre For Special Edition Beats Fit Pro Neutrals

Kim Kardashian has teamed up with Beats By Dre to produce a special-edition range of Beats Fit Pro earbuds!

On Tuesday (Aug. 9), the fashion and beauty mogul announced her latest collaboration with leading audio brand Beats By Dre to design a new special edition for its Beats Fit Pro wireless earbuds. According to reports, this partnership marks Beats’ first custom collaboration to date. This collaboration comes in three neutral tone colors: Moon (light), Dune (medium) and Earth (deep) with their accompanying matching cases in the same smooth, matte shades– a similar style and color scheme of Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS and KKW collections.

Kim Kardashian took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the news with her fans. She captioned her post:

“I’m so excited to share Beats Fit Pro by @beatsbydre will be coming soon in 3 signature neutrals, designed by me! Can’t wait for you to try them out on 8/16″

Per an official press release, Beats x Kim “sits at the intersection of fashion and functionality,” and sees the brand’s signature earbuds outfitted in Kardashian’s signature minimalistic aesthetic.

In a press statement, the SKIMS owner revealed that she actually pitched the idea of the collaboration to Beats after she started having her own personal pairs hand-painted to match her day-to-day neutral wardrobe. Kim explained,

“I wanted to break away from the idea that headphones have to be colorful to make a statement. This collaboration is special because it allows you to blend in or stand out, and Beats is known for creating products that showcase individuality.”

Eddy Cue– Apple’s senior vice president of Services– had this to say:

“Kim brought her signature minimalist style to the first-ever Beats Fit Pro custom headphones..We’re excited to offer Beats’ most innovative headphones in a whole new, gorgeous color palette to music fans and fashion lovers alike.”

Dr Dre’s Beats brand originally shot to fame for its bass-heavy earphones back in 2008 before it was bought by Apple back in 2014.

You can shop the Beats x Kim collaboration starting Tuesday, August 16, online at apple.com/kim and in stores starting Wednesday, August 17. The special edition Beats Fit Pro earbuds are prices at $199.99
