DJ Drama Challenges DJ Khaled To A Verzuz Battle: It’s All Love, It’s Just Competition [VIDEO]

DJ Drama has called on fellow hitmaker DJ Khaled to step into the Verzuz battle ring for a face off.

In a new interview, music promoter DJ Drama sat down with “Ebro in the Morning” to discuss the music scene in Atlanta, his arrest years ago, whether he would do a Verzuz against DJ Khaled, and more.

During his appearance, record executive DJ Drama, 44, shared that he previously has called on fellow record exec. DJ Khaled, 46, to compete in the virtual DJ battle.

DJ Drama, born Tyree Cinque Simmons, is now doubling down on the challenge and wants DJ Khaled, real name Khaled Mohammed Khaled, to reciprocate the energy. Drama said,

“I have said Khaled’s name. Let’s see Khaled say Drama’s name. I want to see on record someone ask Khaled, ‘What do you think about DJ Drama in a Verzuz?’”

Drama added,

“And let me put it like this, I do nothing but tip my hat and salute to that man and his accomplishments. And the greatness that he has done for the culture. It’s all love, it’s just competition.”

Drama seemingly isn’t scared of the challenge. At the end of the clip, the Philadelphia native declared,

“I’m really like that!”
