‘Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s’ – Woman Sentenced For Role In Reality Star Tim Norman’s Murder-For-Hire Scheme
A woman named Terica Ellis has been sentenced for her role in a murder-for-hire scheme involving ‘Welcome To Sweetie Pie’s’ Tim Norman.
On Tuesday (Jan. 24), U.S. District Judge John Ross sentenced Terica Ellis, 39, to three years in prison for her involvement in the death of 21-year-old Andre Montgomery, Tim Norman’s nephew, in 2016. In July, she pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire.
In her testimony, Ellis said that Tim Norman paid her $10,000 to help him find Andre Montgomery. Norman then gave his nephew’s location to another man, who fatally shot Montgomery.

As previously reported, Tim Norman was accused of orchestrating the killing of Montgomery, with prosecutors saying he masterminded the 21-year-old’s murder. Prosecutors alleged that Norman tried to cash a $450K life insurance policy taken out on his nephew.
Ellis, who was facing a 20-year sentence, only received three years behind bars for her involvement. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Judge Ross said there were several factors in Ellis receiving a three-year sentence, including the fact that she had been forced into prostitution at a young age. Judge Ross also took into consideration Ellis’ testimony against Norman and said the former reality tv star would likely have succeeded in the murder-for-hire plot whether Ellis helped or not.
In addition to Ellis, two others involved in the scheme have also been sentenced. Norman’s former insurance agent Waiel Rebhi Yaghnam was sentenced to three years in prison in November after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud. In October, the shooter, Travell Anthony Hill, was sentenced to 32 years in prison.

In September, Tim Norman was convicted of three counts — murder-for-hire, conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud. He is scheduled to be sentenced in March.
