Deb Antney Denies Cutting Da Brat Out of Bootcamp-Style Show, Says Network Killed Their Original Pitch & She ‘Knew All About’ “Deb’s House”

During a conversation with journalist and media personality Loren Lorosa, Deb addressed recent claims from Da Brat, who alleged she was cut out of their TV deal, with Deb later moving forward on her own to create what’s now known as Deb’s House. While Deb confirmed that the two were once developing a bootcamp-style reality series together, she made it clear that the network ultimately passed on their pitch.

According to Deb, Deb’s House was always her own project and differs from the bootcamp-style concept they had been working on. She also claimed that #DaBrat was fully aware of this and was even slated to appear as a guest judge on the show, though that appearance never materialized. Deb went on to reflect on how close they once were and where she believes things took a turn, before questioning why the accusations are surfacing now. “For her to say I stole a show – she’s wrong. They denied that show — that show was denied years ago. So why now come up? …Do you know how bad this is piercing me? This hurts,” Deb expressed.
