SiR Apologizes To Fans After Receiving Backlash For Sexist Post Referring To A Woman As A ‘B*tch’: ‘I Hear Everyone & I Am Sincerely Sorry’
Sir Darryl Farris, known simply as SiR, referred to a woman as a b*tch, and as expected, his fans are not too happy about it.

Following criticism from fans, SiR issued an apology post on Sunday, Feb. 25. Expressing regret, he said, in part,
“Let me start by saying I hear everyone, and I am sincerely sorry. Women deserve respect and I see using “b*tch” doesn’t do that. please accept my apology and allowing me this teaching moment.”

However, some fans expressed that they didn’t believe he fully understood why they took issue with his original post.
One X user reacted to SiR’s apology and said,
“less about you saying b:tch & more about you being a 37yo r&b artist tryna giggle & kiki w a 13yo minecraft kai snot incel fanbase that will never stream you. what’s not connecting?”

Below are fans who reacted similarly,

Meanwhile, some other fans felt the R&B singer didn’t need to apologize,

The ordeal started over the weekend when SiR watched Kai Cenat host a dating show on his stream. During the stream, Kai Cenat found a new girlfriend for the man whose ex-girlfriend went viral for a passionate dance on stage with singer Omah Ley.
After he watched the stream, SiR shared his thoughts on his X account. He wrote,
“@KaiCenat a real one. Got a n*gga a whole new B*tch on Twitch.”
SiR has since deleted the post.

If you’re unfamiliar with SiR’s music, he’s a singer and songwriter from Inglewood, California. He has worked alongside artists like Jill Scott, Melanie Fiona, Letoya Luckett, Robert Glasper, Anita Baker, and others in the Southern California scene.
