‘RHOP’ Alum Monique Samuels Seemingly Has No Plans To Return To Series Amid Cast Shake-Up

Bravo and Monique Samuels are (probably) never getting back together.

The internet was set on fire yesterday (Mar. 25) by news that “Real Housewives of Potomac” is undergoing major reconstruction following season 8. Fans of the network have been throwing around ideas for months on what production should do to ensure “RHOP” returns to the entertaining series it once was. If you’re a viewer of the show then you’re aware the past couple of seasons have been rocky as the cast just can’t seem to get along at all anymore. Some have even suggested that alum Monique Samuels be brought back.

The mother-of-three first joined the series for season two in 2017 and exited in 2020, at the end of season five. As you may already know, it’s not uncommon for ladies of the “Housewives” franchises to take a hiatus from filming, eventually coming back to the Bravo spotlight. However, Monique Samuels apparently has no plans to take that route.

Seemingly responding to the demands for her to pick up the iconic “RHOP” champagne glass once again, Monique wrote in a recent Instagram caption,

“Nope! Don’t ask [kiss face emoji] [laughing face emoji] click the link in bio beautiful people and catch me on the radio every d*mn morning [red hearts emojis]”

She added in the comment section,

“I love yall though”

Monique’s comments follow our exclusive report that OG cast member Robyn Dixon is allegedly not returning for season 9. Sources shared with us that there’s a chance she may make appearances or rejoin as one of the leading ladies in the future, however.

Candiace Dillard Bassett – who joined the series in 2018 for season three – recently announced she’s leaving the show to focus on other endeavors. A report from PEOPLE noted that she wasn’t fired but decided to step away on her own.
