J. Cole Spotted Protecting His Peace On The Beach, Snaps Photo w/ Fan Amid Drake & Kendrick Lamar’s Feud

Fans are finally coming around to J. Cole’s decision to bow out of the rap battle between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. And the rapper’s latest appearance only solidifies his decision to protect his peace. Recently a fan on TikTok revealed that she casually ran into the rapper alone on the beach. The post has since gone viral amassing 1.7 million views with over 1 million likes. J. Cole wore visible white socks while donning his signature locks. The Forest Hill Drive rapper is said to have been “making his next album,” according to the fan who was able to snap a picture with the star. The picture shows the 39-year-old wearing headphones plugged into his laptop.

J.Cole’s latest sighting comes as his peers, Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s rap beef continues to heat up, dividing social media daily. This past April, Cole joined into the much-talked-about feud when he released his diss track “7 Minute Drill,” a response to Kendrick Lamar’s verse on the Future and Metro Boomin’s track “Like That.” Cole took shots at Lamar calling his last album “tragic” and said that the Compton rapper “Fell off like The Simpsons.”

Cole’s response came after Lamar rejected being a part of ‘The big three,” which Cole labeled himself Drake and Lamar in the 2023 single “First Person Shooter” on Drake’s For All The Dogs album. Before the rap beef could go on, Cole apologized during his Dreamville Festival performance.

About his diss track, Cole said,

“I just want to come up here and publicly be like, bruh, that was the lamest, goofiest sh*t. I say all that to say it made me feel like 10 years ago when I was moving incorrectly. And I pray that God will line me back up on my purpose and my path. I pray that my n*gg* really didn’t feel no way and if he did, my n*gg*, I got my chin out. Take your best shot, I’ma take that sh*t on the chin boy, do what you do. All good. It’s love. And I pray that y’all are like, forgive a n*gg* for the misstep and I can get back to my true path. Because I ain’t gonna lie to y’all. The past two days felt terrible. It let me know how good I’ve been sleeping for the past 10 years.”

Cole’s apology has been met with mixed reactions. Some fans are starting to come around and understand why the rapper is choosing peace. In recent days both Drake and Lamar have unleashed on each other in dueling diss tracks. Allegations of pedophilia, domestic violence, and unclaimed children have run wild during the feud.

For now, fans will have to wait to see what comes from Cole’s outing on the beach. One thing is for sure, the rapper is sleeping comfortably at night by staying out of this main event battle.
