Rapper Lil Pump Sued Over Battery, False Imprisonment, & Civil Theft Allegations
Gazzy Garcia, known professionally as Lil Pump, has been named in a lawsuit accusing him of several serious allegations.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, the 24-year-old beat a man and recorded the incident over fake predator allegations. Edwin Valenzuela named Lil Pump, internet streamer Vitaly, a fighter named Colby Covington and several others as defendants.
Per the lawsuit, Vitaly was hired by a streaming company to produce a 10-episode series called Catching Predators, which is apparently meant to be a “spoof” of the early 2000s NBC show To Catch a Predator.
However, unlike the real show, Valenzuela said the streamer’s knock-off version never turned “the alleged predators over to law enforcement.” Instead, “Vitaly, and his associates beat, harass, torture, terrorize, defame and humiliate the alleged predators on a live stream.”
It’s alleged that in August, Valenzuela, who worked for Uber at the time, was driving the men around when they offered him a job cleaning a boat.
He was later contacted regarding the cleaning offer, however, after being “lured onto a vessel,” the torture began. Allegedly, Lil Pump and the other defendants ambushed Valenzuela and read aloud fake messages that depicted him having sexually explicit conversations with minors.
Lil Pump then allegedly punched the man in the head, knocking him to the ground, and proceeded to kick his head “like a soccer ball.” The suit also claimed the “YUMMY!” rapper cut the man’s hair, smacked him in the face with a condom, and attempted to force him to eat the condom.
It’s also said that Lil Pump snatched and kept Valenzuela’s gold chains and damaged his vehicle.
The lawsuit read,
“Throughout the ordeal, Plaintiff was bombarded by verbal abuse, including racial slurs, accusations of illegal status, and threats of deportation, with multiple Defendants screaming in his face, all while being urged by an attorney to sign a release for a ‘gameshow.'”
