Former Donald Trump Attorney Rudy Giuliani Must Turn Over Control Of Manhattan Penthouse & Luxury Items To The Two Black GA Election Workers He Defamed
Rudy Giuliani, former attorney to Donald Trump, is being ordered to pay on his $150 million settlement debt.
According to CNN, a court judge ruled earlier today (October 22nd) that Giuliani must turn over all his valuable possessions, as well as his interest in his Manhattan penthouse apartment as part of the payout he owes two Georgia election workers who successfully sued him for defamation.
In case you’re unfamiliar with the story, Giuliani blasted Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss in the aftermath of the controversial 2020 election, wrongfully accusing them of tampering with ballots.
After the women filed their complaint, Giuliani reportedly failed to respond to certain parts of the suit resulting in a judge finding him liable and awarding the mother-daughter duo a $150 million judgment – $16,171,000 to Freeman for defamation, $16,998,000 to Moss for defamation, $20 million to each woman for emotional distress and $75 million total in punitive damages.
In addition to the settlement, Freeman and Moss will receive nearly $2 million in legal fees that Giuliani says the Trump campaign still owes him, as well as his collection of several watches; a signed Joe DiMaggio jersey and other sports memorabilia; a 1980 Mercedes once owned by the Hollywood star Lauren Bacall; his television, items of furniture, as well as other jewelry.
At this time the judge has not decided if Giuliani will keep a Palm Beach, Florida, condominium he owns, or the four New York Yankees World Series rings he has, which Giuliani’s son insists were gifted to him by his father.
