Nichols’ lawyers and prosecutors agreed to a sentence of seven years in jail and 13 more of probation. He is getting credit for time served — more than two years since this case began — meaning he’ll remain behind bars for roughly five more years.
At the time of this report, no updates have been given for Young Thug, real name Jeffery Williams, Deamonte Kendrick Shannon Stillwell, Rodalius Ryan and Marquavius Huey.
However, news on the remaining defendants is expected to come soon as there have been talks between prosecutors and defense attorneys about a mistrial and/or plea negotiations.
