‘Full House’ Star Dave Coulier Shares Stage 3 Cancer Diagnosis, Says It’s ‘Very Treatable’
Dave Coulier, beloved for his role as Joey Gladstone on Full House, opened up on the Today Show about a serious health battle.
The actor revealed he’s been diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a type of blood cancer that starts in the lymphatic system. When he first learned of the diagnosis, Coulier described it as a “gut punch.”
Despite the shock, Coulier says there’s good news: after further testing showed the cancer hadn’t spread, doctors told him his curability rate increased to 90%. “It’s very treatable,” he shared, adding that he’s optimistic about his treatment. He’s scheduled for six rounds of chemotherapy, one every 21 days, and is aiming for “total remission” by February 2025.
