Davido is setting the record straight about the idea of moving to Africa in the wake of Donald Trump’s victory.
Speaking with Big Homie Kodaq, the Nigerian superstar shared his thoughts when it was mentioned that some people were considering relocating to Africa after Trump’s win. He explained,
“It’s not cool back home. The economy now is in shambles.”

Davido went on to specifically address Nigeria, saying,
“The exchange rate is messed up. A lot of stuff isn’t going well. The economy just isn’t good, and the oil prices are too high. We produce the oil, and we pay more for oil than a country that’s importing oil.”
