Gary Owen Reacts To Kendrick Lamar’s Lyric About White Comedians Talking About Black Women
Gary Owen is sending a message after Kendrick Lamar‘s lyrics about white comedians discussing Black women.
In his song “Wacced Out Murals” from his surprise album GNX, Kendrick Lamar raps,
“Don’t let no white comedian talk about no Black woman, that’s law.”
Gary Owen shared a screenshot of the lyrics and offered up his own response in the caption. He wrote,
“If that’s the law that makes me a criminal.”
While Gary Owen was quick to jump to his own defense, many fans in his comments section said Kendrick Lamar was referencing Andrew Schulz, who came under fire in September after mocking Black women with British podcasters James Duncan and Fuhad Dawodu of ShxtsNGigs. James Duncan and Fuhad Dawodu later apologized.
