Drew Barrymore Admits She’s Been ‘Warned’ To ‘Back Off’ From Touchiness During Interviews
Drew Barrymore says not everyone appreciates her love of physical touch.
During a recent episode of her talk show, the actress-turned-host shared with Wicked star Cynthia Erivo that she’s been told to tone down her need to touch others once or twice, stating:
“I’m so touchy! People have to warn me. They’re like, ‘Back off a little bit.’ I’m like, ‘Why?’”

Barrymore, who enjoys getting close and personal with nearly all of her daytime talk show guests, additionally expressed her hope that the world could become more comfortable with physical touch.
